PURPOSE
The Empresa Performing Arts Foundation (EPAF) was formed in 2001 to support music education and performing arts at our school. EPAF was Empresa's answer to the budget crisis that cut vital programs from public schools. Our parents and staff recognize the important role that the arts play in providing children with a well-rounded education and dedicate their own time, talents, and financial resources to create an amazing program for the students.
Empresa's music program is fully funded by the parents of our students through the fundraising efforts of the EPAF members. Every student in our school attends music class once a week, and there are additional opportunities to participate in band, choir, percussion, guitar, and ukulele.
Every student also participates in at least one stage performance each year! These can range from our joyous school-wide holiday performance involving all 800+ Empresa kids (amazing!!) to grade level performances such as "How Does Your Garden Grow?" or "Rockin' Through the Decades!"
