PURPOSE

The Empresa Parent Teacher Association (PTA) supports our school in a variety of ways. By becoming an active member, your dues support classroom supplies, school-wide assemblies, and so much more!

HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT YOUR EMPRESA PTA?

1. Become a member - no volunteering required!
   • No time to volunteer or get more involved with the school? No problem! You can still show your support by becoming a member. See the info on the right side of this webpage to learn how to become a member.
   • Help us reach our 100% membership goals to show that our families support our school!
2. Volunteer to help with events or help in class - flexible time commitment
   • The PTA and/or Room Parents will occasionally send out requests for parents to sign up to volunteer for events. Time commitment is generally 1-3 hours per event, and you can choose to sign up for events that fit your schedule.
   • Teachers will ask for parent volunteers to help in the classroom or chaperone field trips.
3. Volunteer to be on the PTA Board
   • Get to know your PTA Board members and learn about what they do! Families move and board members can serve for a maximum of two years, so we are always looking for new people to become active in our board.
   • If you are interested, speak with a PTA Board member or attend the February association meeting to get more information on open positions for the next school year.

Support the PTA by becoming a member! Membership is just $8.00 per person! Your PTA membership dues will help support many of the wonderful events and benefits that make Empresa so special.

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Don't miss out on member perks! To join, complete the membership form and return it with payment to the office or to your child's teacher.

PAY MEMBERSHIP DUES ONLINE
Online payment is available with a $1 convenience fee per member. If you would like to pay online:
1) Fill in your information on the membership envelope or printable form, note that you paid online, and return it to your child's teacher so your class gets credit for the membership (classes with all students turning in a membership form/envelope get a popsicle party!),
2) Click this link to sign up electronically via the TOTEM system. After entering your info, click the 'Add a Member' button to purchase additional memberships for other family members.
3)Download your electronic membership card and view your benefits to cash in on your member perks!

WOULD YOU LIKE TO DONATE TO THE PTA?

The PTA hosts our annual APEX event as our primary fundraiser in the fall. You can participate in any of these fundraisers or make extra donations at any time if you would like to offer more financial support. Your donation supports classroom supplies, school-wide assemblies, and many wonderful events at Empresa. In addition, your donation can support volunteers who can't afford the membership fee.
